Introduction

I want to share with you The Simple Truth. What is the Simple Truth I hear you ask? Well it is about reflecting on the word of God and having a clear understanding about salvation through Jesus Christ which is freely given and a gift from God, for you to freely receive. If you are not in the habit of picking up the bible you’ll need a few tips on how to get the best from the scripture you are reading.

Before you start reading the verses, say this prayer – it will help you to understand what you are reading. Before you say the pray lay your hand on the bible to help you connect to all that is in it:

‘Dear God, direct me to the truth, the simple truth in your word. Help me to understand it and use it in my life to transform and others in Jesus mighty  name I pray – Amen.’

Now you are ready to read the next part.

If you read Ephesians 2: 8, then John 3:16 it will help you understand this principle even further. Also in Romans 10:9-17 For if  you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved…..

Below are simple explanations about the songs on the album. Remain blessed until we meet again.

Love Adesuwa x

Track 1 – Trail of Broken Hearts

The Lord is close to the broken-hearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm34:18). For by grace you have been saved through faith.

Drunkenness, addiction, confusion, hopelessness, discouragement, depression, suicidal, rejection, abuse, cultists, any other negative destructive situation in your life leads to broken hearts, this is not the work of God. The devils sole purpose is to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life in all its fullness (John 10:8-10). (James 1: 19-25). God can use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Track 2 –  Joy and Love

The true source of joy is God. (Psalm16: 7-11). For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it (John 3:16-17) I have loved you even as the father has loved me, you remain in my love. When you obey me, you remain in my love, just as I obey the father and remain in his love. I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes your joy will over flow! I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you.

Track 3 – Uruese Baba ‘O

This is the Nigerian language of Edo which simply means thank you father. Basically we should give thanks in every situation we find our self in and always praise him. Shout with joy to the Lord, O earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his…. (Psalm 100:1-5). Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)

Track 4 – Great Miracles

This song is all about knowing who you are in Christ Jesus, that you are a child of God,  gifted and blessed. Since the beginning of time God had promised to bless man, who lived by His word, read (Genesis 12: 1-4). And the Lord answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plan upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time… (Habakkuk 2:2-3). Proverbs3:21-26) The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results (James 5:16). With God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). In (Mark 9:23-25) the word says; And i am sure that God, who began the good work in you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again. Hold on to your faith and surely you will see a great miracle performed in your life – Amen!

Track 6 – Blossom Tree

Reflects on abiding in the Lord, for your blessings to come forth, read (John15:1-5)

We must live a lifestyle of prayer, being in communication with the father, Son and Holy Spirit always. We should pray for the nations, our families, church, friends and foes alike. (Colossians 4:6).Then read (Acts 4: 31). I love them that love me. Those who search for me will surely find me. Unending riches honor, wealth, and justice are mine to distribute. My gifts are better than the purest gold, my wages better than sterling silver. I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice. Those who love me inherit wealth, for I fill their treasuries (Mathew 6:33). You must press forward in all that you do, walk in faith, believe in God’s word and put on the whole armour of God. (Ephesians 6:10 – 20).

Track 7 – Second Time Around

This song is based on a relationship I was in years ago which ended not so good and made me realize the importance of living your life correctly with God so you can seek His wisdom when making important decisions regarding relationships.

The Lord is the shepherd of our soul and he has given his life for His sheep, he cares for us and loves us, (John 10:11- 14). Show me the path where I should walk, O Lord; point out the right road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. (Psalm 25:4-5).

Track 8 – The Universe Will Send Him To Me

When I became born again, I spoke and prayed to God about my future partner and marriage, later I had several dreams based on my husband to be which filled me with great hope in things to come.

What t is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. God gave his approval to people of days old because of their faith. (Hebrews 11:1). And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Every one who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. (Luke 11: 9-10).

Track 9 – Never in a Month of Sundays

This song is about keeping control over your emotions when establishing a relationship with someone you really like. When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth…… (John 16:13). Feelings are emotions on the inside that are trying to move you in a particular direction either to the will of God or outside the will of God. You must carefully guard your emotions, Proverbs 7 reveals more.  Zeal (meaning enthusiasm) without knowledge is not good; a person who moves to quickly may go the wrong way. (Proverbs 19:2).

Track 10 – I Need Your Endless Love

This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Since they are no longer two but one, let no one separate them, for God has joined them together. (Mark 10:7-9) Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery. (Hebrews 13:4). Nourish and cherish one another and speak the word of God into each others life, read (Ephesians 5:21-33) Living in harmony with one another is important. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life forevermore. (Psalm 133:3).

Track 11 – The Other Side of Town

We based this song on a wise man who is resting in the Lord and living life according to Gods commandments in paying tithes (tithes are 10% of all we earn or gain), and offerings and has been abundantly blessed. He has not gained his wealth in a dishonest way.

Jesus Christ also recognized tithes read (Luke 11:42, Mathew23:23). They gave not only what they could afford, but far more. (2 Corinthians 8:3). You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.

Track 12 – Free Spirit

This song is about believing in the vision that God has given you for your life, which will be accomplished no matter what you’re going through. We must have great faith in the Lord, read (Mathew 8: 5:13). Abraham never wavered in believing Gods promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God…. (Romans 4:20-25). But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord… (2 Timothy 4:5)

Track 13 – Power in His Name

The bible is not just a compilation of stories to be read as a novel, the bible is the manual of our lives if we choose to follow it. Every area, Jesus is alive and the Holy Spirit is real, it’s so important to communicate with Jesus. He is simply waiting to hear from you and to form a relationship with you, so our Father in heaven through his Holy Spirit can manifest his power in your life and help you to overcome all negative situations. God wants us to live an abundantly blessed life. Let the glory of God shine forth in your life. Just become all that God created you to be by living according to His word.

Jesus told his disciples, “I have authority in heaven and on the earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of them all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father the Son and the Holy Spirit…. (Mathew 28:18-20). “Take note: I will come unexpected as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their robes ready so they will not need to walk naked and ashamed.” (Revelations 16:15).
